WHO WE ARE
Our Values & Story
Founded by a Lincoln native with roots deeply embedded in the heart of Nebraska, our story is one of resilience and commitment. After proudly serving in the Navy, our founder returned home with a newfound sense of purpose, determined to build a legacy of service rooted in the values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment instilled during military service.
Driven by a desire to create a better future for their growing family, our founder embarked on the path of entrepreneurship, leveraging years of experience gained in mechanical trades and HVAC&R expertise honed during military deployments. But Drueppel HVAC & Refrigeration isn’t just about fixing systems; it’s about providing empathetic service, fair pricing, and unparalleled dedication to our customers’ comfort and satisfaction.
MEET THE OWNER
Cody Drueppel
Born in Schuyler, NE, but a Lincolnite at heart, Cody, the owner of Drueppel HVAC & Refrigeration, has always called Central Lincoln home. Graduating from Lincoln Southwest in 2004, he pursued education at Nebraska Wesleyan and SCC before answering the call to serve in the Navy in 2007. Stationed in Virginia on the USS Carr FFG-52, an Oliver Perry Class Frigate, he deployed three times, including missions to Iraq and counter-narcotic operations in South and Central America. As an Engineman 2nd Class Petty Officer, his mechanical expertise flourished, laying the foundation for his future in HVAC&R trades.
Cody’s journey intertwined with love when he met Whitney through mutual friends before his military service. Reconnecting upon their return from Iraq, their bond strengthened, culminating in the birth of their first son. Sacrificing moments with family due to military obligations, including the birth of their son, he realized the importance of being present. Determined to build a future for their growing family, he decided to bring his skills back home to Lincoln. With two more sons added to their family, the decision to start a business became a natural progression.
Values are not just principles but guiding lights for Cody. Honed in the Navy, values like Honor, Courage, and Commitment have been ingrained, alongside newer pillars of Respect, Loyalty, and Integrity, shaping his personal and professional ethos. Driven by these principles, he navigates the world of business with a dedication to excellence and a commitment to service, ensuring that every customer receives not just HVAC solutions but integrity-driven care.
